"Your Light"

Updated: Nov 7, 2022

As I was thinking over the past couple of days, my thoughts went to a quote by Dabo Swinney “Let your light within you shine brighter than the light shining on you”. Wow! That is really powerful! How many times have we met folks or been with a peer who has had some success and it goes to their head. They are arrogant and think they are 100% responsible for their success. They forget about their team! It takes more character to handle success than it does failure!

We don’t need to learn how to be gracious losers—We need to have the character to be humble winners! I am thankful that I work with a whole lot of SUPERSTARS that are humble and recognize their team! Finally, How do you let your light shine to the folks around you? Please comment and let me know your thoughts? How do you impact the world and your workplace in a positive way?

Science Fact: If our Galaxy was the size of North America — The Earth would be the size of a Quarter. There are millions of Galaxies in the Universe! Our God is really BIG!

History Fact: Lucifer (otherwise known as Satan) when researched back to the Hebrew means “Morning Star”. Lucifer is a fallen angel that was once the choirmaster of music in heaven and was the most beautiful of all angels. Lucifer was banished from heaven because he tried to he take God’s supreme place in heaven. There is no doubt Lucifer was an angel who let the LIGHT shining on him get brighter than the LIGHT within him!
